Stella Maris College | Chennai, India | Advancing SDG 11, SDG 10 & UNAI 9

" My passion for addressing socio-economic and environmental challenges drives me to pursue innovative and community-focused solutions. Through the Millennium Fellowship, I am excited to strengthen my leadership skills, connect with like-minded changemakers and policymakers, and design initiatives that contribute meaningfully to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Sound of Our City
"Sound of Our City" is about giving voice to the people in our community and keeping their stories alive. This project aims to document the stories and build a digital archive of them. To bring these voices to the community, I will host a small community-level screening and a casual discussion, aiming to reach 20-40 people. This project aligns primarily with SDG 11, especially 11.4, which emphasises safeguarding the world's heritage. It also works to reduce inequalities (SDG 10) and ensures that every community's voice is heard.
