" I believe design has the power to bring positive change when used with purpose and responsibility. My project, Fun-e-Dastoor, reflects my passion for sustainability by transforming waste into valuable products and raising awareness about the importance of recycling and environmental care. Becoming a Millennium Fellow excites me because it will give me the opportunity to grow alongside like-minded change makers, strengthen my skills, and align my efforts with the Sustainable Development Goals to create a greater social and environmental impact. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: CyberSafe Pakistan
CyberSafe Pakistan is a national initiative designed to empower people of all ages—from children to elders—with essential digital safety skills. The project combines interactive awareness campaigns, hands-on workshops, and accessible resources to address real-world online threats such as cyberbullying, harassment, data breaches, and misinformation. By leveraging a train-the-trainer model, student and teacher ambassadors, volunteer-led events, and strategic partnerships with schools, universities, and community organizations, CyberSafe Pakistan aims to directly equip 10,000 Pakistanis in its first year. The vision is to create a digitally resilient society where every citizen is confident, safe, and responsible in the online world.
