United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: TakaKorii- Your Budget Partner

TakaKorii is a personal finance app designed to help students, freelancers, jobholders, and families manage money confidently and build better financial habits. The app allows users to track income and expenses, scan bills, plan events, monitor market prices, and analyze spending patterns through clear visual reports. Short, engaging financial lessons teach basic money skills, while behavior based nudges and rewards motivate consistent saving and smart spending. By combining practical tools, emotional guidance, and local relevance, TakaKorii addresses the financial literacy gap in Bangladesh, reduces unplanned expenses, and empowers users to make informed financial decisions in their daily lives.

About the Millennium Fellow

Abida Sultana Jeba is an aspiring economist and passionate changemaker from Bangladesh, currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Economics at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). Recently selected as a Millennium Fellow by the United Nations Academic Impact and the Millennium Campus Network, she joins a global cohort of young leaders advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through innovative, community-driven action.
Guided by a deep commitment to mental health advocacy, entrepreneurship. Abida draws strength from personal experiences and the needs of her community. She is especially excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a platform to address parenting issues in her community—a challenge she believes is often overlooked yet deeply impactful for societal well-being.
As Assistant Director of SUST Career Club, she leads initiatives that empower youth with leadership and career skills. With a vision to study at a top global university, Abida aspires to build enterprises that deliver inclusive and lasting impact, bridging economic opportunity with social well-being.
