United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

" Millennium Fellowship is a prestigious program led by United Nations. This program will be led by world class mentors which will enhance my theoretical knowledge and the assigned tasks by Millennium Fellowship, will whet my practical knowledge my leadership skills. These knowledges will help me to execute my project smoothly. My expectations from this prestigious program are so high. This program will allow me connect with the peoples worldwide. Which will assist me in my future SDG projects. And finally I want to thank Millennium Fellowship for giving me the opportunity. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Spread Financial Literacy

Lack of financial literacy can drive individuals toward debt traps, poverty, and mismanagement of money. Even if anyone earns huge amount amount of money doesn't mean the person will be financially happy. Spread Financial Literacy project emphasizes on increasing the money knowledge of individuals. This project will teach individuals about budgeting, investing, selecting the right insurance and many other personal finance concepts. Through this project I am willing to deliver my pursued knowledge to the people. Both online and offline activities will be done on this project. since, in this era everyone uses social media I will write blogs and make videos about financial literacy and post then into social medias like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter(currently X), Quora and other social media platforms, to make sure as much as I can reach the financially unstable peoples. In online I am planning to deliver free courses, and in offline I am willing to conduct some seminars on Financial literacy.

About the Millennium Fellow

Mohammad Siam is an undergraduate student from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. As a student from business background, he intend to to work with money. He is a fast learner, adaptive and collaborative. From his aspiration to work with money, he want to create some real world impacts with his financial knowledge. He has a strong expertise on leadership and he wants to leverage this skill to spread the basic financial knowledge among individuals, who struggles to manage their money. He is committed to his project "Spread Financial Literacy". He has managed and organized many projects before, and he feels confident to execute this project in a perfect manner.
