Millennium Fellowship Project: SAFARi

SAFARi: Surveillance and Alert Framework for Animal Risk Identification.
It's a project that's taken up to help the rural and tribal communities of Kerala that have been seeing an increasing uptick in animal-related deaths in their residential neighbourhoods. Through a machine learning model that's been optimized, the animal is identified, and the alert is sent to the machine of the user that has previously logged in through the system. As internet penetration percentages in Kerala is high, this facility should still ensure that most people are positively served.
Note: This project is still a prototype, integrations with actual networks are a future scope.
