ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2025

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering minds

The project involved writing an article that highlights the challenges facing the education sector in Kenya and sharing it with our peers to empower them and instill a sense of responsibility to collectively address the highlighted issues. The target audience was youth and our peers. The project aimed to gather feedback from readers and encourage a collective call to action among those who engaged with the article.

About the Millennium Fellow

Naom Kerubo was born in Gesiaga village, Kenya and is currently an undergraduate student pursuing Aeronautical Engineering at the Technical University of Kenya. Residing in Kenya, she is a passionate mentor and youth leader dedicated to empowering girls and supporting the less fortunate. From her early years, Naom has been inspired to create change through mentorship, leadership and service. She has actively engaged in student leadership, alumni mentorship and empowerment programs, cultivating a reputation for compassion and resilience. Naom envisions using her career and leadership journey to inspire and create opportunities for the next generation.
