" I believe engineering is a calling to serve people and steward the environment responsibly. The Millennium Fellowship will empower me to expand my impact by collaborating with global leaders who share a vision for sustainable development. This opportunity excites me because it will strengthen my ability to design climate-conscious infrastructure that transforms communities. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Impact of SCBA Fineness on Concrete

This project investigates how the fineness of sugarcane bagasse ash impacts the performance of concrete when used as a partial replacement to cement. It involves testing unground ash and ash ground for different durations; the study examines effects on strength, setting time, and workability. The goal is to transform an abundant agricultural waste product into a viable, low-carbon alternative for cement, thereby supporting more sustainable construction practices and contributing to climate-responsible infrastructure development.
