The local project is called Climate Action for a Sustainable Future, and it addresses the issue of climate change through reducing the quantity of plastic pollution. This effort will raise awareness and offer alternatives to single-use plastics through the use of alternatives that will be practicable, as plastics are processed with the use of fossil fuels, resulting in greenhouse gas emissions. The project facilitates the implementation of easy lifestyle changes and a pledge to go plastic-free by organizing workshops and cleanup drives and collaborating with schools and local businesses. When making sustainability easier and engaging in a project, the project facilitates communities in playing a larger role in climate action in accomplishing a cleaner and healthier future.
