I believe this fellowship will strengthen my ability to connect biochemistry with real-world challenges, contributing to sustainable solutions aligned with the UN SDGs. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustainable Bioplastics initiatives
This project focused on promoting bioplastics as an alternative to traditional plastics. By encouraging less plastic use, it aims to reduce pollution, support a healthier lifestyle, and contribute to climate action. The initiative raises awareness about sustainable materials and their importance for a cleaner environment.
My project successfully raised awareness about the importance of bioplastics and reducing traditional plastic use. My main goal was to educate people about sustainable alternatives, and I achieved this by sharing information, engaging with students, and encouraging environmentally friendly habits. What went well was the strong interest from the community and the smooth communication during the awareness activities.
