" "As students, we ought to look after one another. Receiving information about educational and career-advancing opportunities should not only be granted to the few. As a Millennium Fellow, I hope to help others access opportunities and use their full potential. I aim to connect students of different backgrounds and find creative ways to facilitate information sharing in underserved communities" "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Students for Students
The ‘Students for Students’ initiative addresses structural inequalities that obstruct young people from accessing educational and career opportunities. Students all around the world find university admissions and internship applications challenging, but they can feel impossible for youth in rural areas or inner-city public institutions. The lack of access to guidance for university applications, internships, and career development should not be what leaves anyone behind. Therefore, this project aims to centralise information about educational and career advancement opportunities. By sharing practical advice, resources, and opportunities, this initiative hopes to level the playing field and empower students to pursue higher education and meaningful careers. The long-term goal is to build an easy-access platform of knowledge sharing to democratise access to education.
