" Empowering Afghan women through education and entrepreneurship is not just a mission for me; it's a personal journey rooted in my own experiences. As a Millennium Fellow, I'm thrilled to collaborate with like-minded individuals who share a vision for gender equality and sustainable development. This fellowship will equip me with the tools to amplify my impact, fostering a brighter future for women and girls in my community and beyond." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Zan-Hub
The project will empower Afghan girls so that they are able to express themselves and find expression for their creativity. We shall provide them with an open platform whereby they can present their work, learn from one another with the aim of improving their skills and compete for awards and prizes. Our area of concern is to provide talented Afghan women with access to platforms and mentors who will provide them with the tools to acquire knowledge and become great artists. It will be comprehensive so that it covers girls from different strata of society, and it will be supported by training on acquisition of technical skills, marketing, and business management. What we would like to do is to nudge, not encourage, but to enable them to be able to bring their dreams and visionary creativity to life. We will also organize showcase events where they can sell their work, organize networking sessions with industry giants, and offer ongoing support in an effort to bring them to long-term success. Within a supportive and cooperative environment, we would like to engage the community and foster sustainable arts practice.
