" “Curiosity, clarity, and community fuel my work in data science and AI. As a Millennium Fellow, I'm excited to deepen my impact by making technology more inclusive and understandable, especially for learners and change makers in underserved communities. This fellowship will help me align my projects with the SDGs and empower others through education, innovation, and collaboration.” "
Millennium Fellowship Project: AI for the Underprivileged Community
In a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, the digital divide continues to widen, especially for underprivileged communities. My Millennium Fellowship project, AI for the Underprivileged Community, was born from a simple but urgent question: How can we use AI not just to advance technology, but to democratize education?
The initiative aimed to introduce AI-powered learning tools to underserved students in Bangladesh, particularly those with limited access to formal education or digital resources. By designing beginner-friendly modules, hosting interactive workshops, and translating technical concepts into accessible formats, we empowered students to engage with AI not as distant magic, but as a tool for learning, growth, and opportunity.
