" "I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers the opportunity to learn from the UN’s principles and global perspectives, gaining insights that can strengthen my approach to creating change. Collaborating with passionate fellows from around the world will help me refine and scale my work on mental health and social equity, ensuring it creates meaningful and lasting impact." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Inara

Project Inara, is a youth-led mental health initiative designed to advance UN Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, with a focus on promoting emotional resilience, mental health literacy, and empathy. The project aims to bridge the gap between awareness and action by initiating open conversations about mental well-being. “Inara,” meaning ray of light, reflects our mission to illuminate conversations often left in the shadows — especially those concerning mental health among youth. By addressing the unique stressors faced during the college years, Inara empowers students to prioritise their mental health, build supportive connections, and cultivate resilience hence, ensuring that wellbeing becomes a collective priority rather than an afterthought.
