Millennium Fellowship Project: Accessible Delhi
AccessibleDelhi advocates for accessible and inclusive mobility in India's capital, specifically for women and persons with disabilities. The initiative works to identify gaps in public infrastructure, raise awareness through campaigns, and engage stakeholders to co-create sustainable urban mobility solutions. By aligning with SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), the project aims to ensure that city planning embraces inclusivity as a core value.
About the Millennium Fellow
Sanghamitra Baksi is an accomplished and driven undergraduate student pursuing English honours at Miranda House, University of Delhi. She has consistently excelled academically and combines intellectual excellence with dynamic leadership. Deeply passionate about social impact, political advocacy, and inclusive development, she has spearheaded events, led campaigns for accessibility with YLAC, and contributed to publications promoting women's empowerment.
