" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a platform to turn ideas into action alongside passionate peers from around the world. I do this work because I believe that meaningful change begins when diverse voices come together with a shared commitment to uplift communities and reimagine a better future. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Periods of Change, Futures of Dignity

This project aims to promote menstrual equity by combining awareness, education, and community-driven action. It seeks to dismantle taboos surrounding menstruation, improve access to accurate information, and advocate for affordable, sustainable menstrual products. Through workshops, discussions, and school outreach, the initiative will empower young people—especially girls—to manage their menstrual health with dignity, confidence, and without stigma. In doing so, it advances gender equality, health, and education in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
