Millennium Fellowship Project: GIRLS for GREEN LEADERSHIP
Girls for Green Leadership (GGL) is a youth-led environmental initiative aimed at empowering young girls in schools and universities to become eco-leaders and climate action advocates in Tanzania. The project will establish eco-clubs, conduct sustainability competitions, launch awareness campaigns (both in-person and via social media), organize confidence-building sessions, and implement community clean-up drives. By engaging young women and their peers, GGL seeks to create a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility that continues beyond the project.
About the Millennium Fellow
Aubrey Desmon Linje is a student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Dar Es Salaam - Tanzania, with the big dream of investing in Government bonds, Agro business, and buying company shares.
This boy currently acts as a school teacher and has been doing it for more than five years, so he has experience in leading others (team leading), showing a pathway to follow, problem-solving, decision-making, and budgeting.
The boy after 5 years from today must be on a higher profile than now, and this is shown openly through his dreams and projects he started.
Therefore, selecting and choosing Aubrey for the Millennium Fellow for the class of 2025 is a good idea.
