" As a Millennium Fellow, I'm excited to leverage this platform to amplify my impact, connecting innovative ideas with actionable solutions. Through my work at Deyoke Foods and my braiding business, I aim to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs to turn their passions into profitable ventures. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Students on Personal Hygiene and Skills

Our project, Empowering Students on Personal Hygiene and Skills, focuses on teaching Basic and Junior High School students the importance of hygiene and simple life skills. We visit schools to run interactive sessions on handwashing, menstrual hygiene, oral care, body cleanliness, communication, and time management. We also train peer ambassadors to continue the education in their schools. So far, we’i've reached over 150 students and seen improvements in their confidence and hygiene practices. Our goal is to promote good health, support quality education, and help build a culture of cleanliness and responsibility among young people.

About the Millennium Fellow

I'm a third-year student at the University of Energy and Natural Resources, studying Resource Enterprise and Entrepreneurship. Passionate about finance, marketing, and business growth, I thrive on turning ideas into profitable ventures.
I'm the Co-founder and Communication & Marketing Lead at Deyoke Foods, where we transform Turkey berries into nutritious tea, powder, wine, and seasoning cubes to promote health and combat iron deficiency anemia.
Beyond food entrepreneurship, I'm also a hairstylist, running a braiding business on campus, combining creativity with commerce.
My goal? To empower startups with financial and marketing strategies while scaling my businesses into sustainable brands.
