United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Green Advocacy Project

The Green Advocacy Project focused on building Advocacy on climate change and its effect on the environment.
Purposely we focused on marine plastic pollution,it causes,effects and how it can be curbed .
Our focus hit on the three Rs: Recycling,Reusing and Reduce - making a headline for our project

About the Millennium Fellow

Reuben Mabingbaan Makabu is a dedicated student from Ghana, pursuing his studies at the University of Education, Winneba. He is passionate about education, technology and social development, with a strong interest in using knowledge to empower communities. Reuben is driven by a desire to contribute to positive change in Ghana and beyond, aligning his efforts with global goals for sustainable development. Through his academic journey and personal initiatives, he aspires to make an impact in education and social progress, while building a career that reflects both leadership and service.
