Millennium Fellowship Project: SusOnTheGo

SusOnTheGo is an organization based at the University of fort hare that mainly aims to tackle the littering problem our campus faces and using our solutions to address student hunger. It aims to educate students on the importance of recycling and making use of bins in the form of seminars. One of the biggest problems we aim to tackle is the waste management system our campus lacks. Not only that the ultimate goal is to introduce recycling system in students residence as well, and this is to be achieved reaching out to other waste management companies for assistance with obtaining recycling bins. The waste that is to be collected is to be sold for profit and that profit is to be used to address issues like students hunger using food banks we also aim to implement gardening projects.
