"
Millennium Fellowship Project: Anchor for Hope
Anchor for Hope is a support-driven initiative designed to uplift young people who face instability at home—specifically those who have lost parents, lack parental involvement, or who are raised by single parents and often grow up without steady emotional or psychological support.
The project provides a safe, compassionate space where these individuals can receive mentorship, life-skills guidance, and emotional support. Anchor for Hope helps them navigate challenges such as loneliness, lack of guidance, identity struggles, and academic pressure. The initiative focuses on rebuilding inner strength, building self-worth, and showing that one’s circumstances do not define one’s future.
Born from personal experiences of growing up with limited parental support, the project transforms pain into purpose. Through the Millennium Fellowship, Anchor for Hope expanded its reach and developed structured programmes that focus on healing, resilience, and empowerment.
Ultimately, Anchor for Hope exists to remind every young person that even when support is missing at home, they are never alone — hope can be rebuilt, and a new foundation of strength can always be formed.
