United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: All Hands Project
The All hands projects is an initiative that aims at educating the general public on recognizing and responding to basic medical emergencies. We aim to host 1-2 training sessions with the general public on basic life support skills from August to December.
As of November 15th, 2025, the All Hands Project has been to 3 institutions so far; two junior high schools and one senior high school. In the senior high school, a group of 210 SHS 2 Science students were taught how and when to initiate Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), how to respond in a choking emergency, and how to manage severe bleeding. In the junior high schools, a total of 410 JHS 1, 2 and 3 students from the two schools were also taught how to recognize emergencies, how to administer CPR, how to respond in a choking emergency, and how to stop active bleeding.
About the Millennium Fellow
Abena Amoakoa Bekoe is a bright, 22 year old student from the University of Ghana Medical School in her 5th year. From a young age, Abena has always been moved by the plight of the less fortunate. She has always been driven to do whatever is in her power to help those in dire straits . This fueled her desire to enter the medical field and become an advocate for those who have no voice. Abena is eager to make a significant contribution as a Millennium Fellow and is looking forward to learning from all the individuals involved.
