Millennium Fellowship Project: Umbrella for Children
Umbrella for children is a project focused on raising awareness among the youth for 3 main issues; student mental health and destigmatisation, antimicrobial resistance climate change awareness. This is through online workshops, social media posts and in person outreaches such as visiting primary and secondary schools or interviewing university students on campus.
About the Millennium Fellow
Lily Daniels is a Psychology and Theatre Arts student at the University of Ghana driven to inspire, create meaningful impact, and lead others in building lives that leave a lasting mark on the world around them. As a dedicated volunteer and peer counsellor, she offers her time and skills to support others with empathy and diligence. She is passionate about mental health, seeing theatre as a way to explore the mind and stir the heart. A lifelong learner, she is exploring AI, UI, and UX to create meaningful digital experiences, while pursuing her dream of becoming a polyglot, believing language is the bridge that unites ideas and drives societal progress.
