Millennium Fellowship Project: Umbrella for Children
Umbrella for children is a project focused on raising awareness among the youth for 3 main issues; student mental health and destigmatisation, antimicrobial resistance climate change awareness. This is through online workshops, social media posts and in person outreaches such as visiting primary and secondary schools or interviewing university students on campus.
About the Millennium Fellow
Macklin Gbafa is a passionate and dedicated student at the University of Ghana, committed to creating positive change in his community. His academic pursuits are complemented by his active involvement in social initiatives and leadership roles. He has a strong interest in agriculture, and he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals. Through his work and studies, Macklin strives to be a catalyst for meaningful impact and a voice for those who need it most.
