" “I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because I believe that it is an opportunity to grow into the changemaker I aspire to be. Although I have not previously engaged in formal humanitarian work, I am deeply passionate about social impact and eager to learn how to translate ideas into action. I am excited to collaborate to global leaders and other fellows to make an impact.” "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Umbrella for Children
Umbrella for children is a project focused on raising awareness among the youth for 3 main issues; student mental health and destigmatisation, antimicrobial resistance climate change awareness. This is through online workshops, social media posts and in person outreaches such as visiting primary and secondary schools or interviewing university students on campus.
