" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow, as this distinguished platform represents a unique opportunity for advanced skill development and comprehensive knowledge acquisition, enabling me to contribute meaningfully to my community and the global society. I aspire to benefit from expert mentorship to strengthen my ongoing initiatives aimed at uplifting the less privileged, while also gaining specialized insights into addressing critical climate-related health challenges confronting my country. These aspirations align closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, guiding my efforts toward inclusive and sustainable development. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: All Hands Project

The "All Hands Project" is a collaborative initiative undertaken by a skilled team of professionals, including Olivia Asiedu and several other Millennium Fellows, with a shared commitment to advancing public knowledge of essential emergency response skills. This impactful project is committed to equipping the general public with essential emergency response skills that can be applied in real-life situations outside of healthcare facilities. While the initiative targets the wider community, the team will, between August and December 2025, focus efforts on secondary schools within the Korle-Gonno constituency, a suburb of Accra, Ghana. During this phase, the goal is to visit at least three schools and engage approximately 600 students through hands-on training and interactive sessions. Through this initiative, the All Hands Project aims to cultivate a culture of preparedness and resilience, equipping individuals with the vital skills necessary to respond effectively to emergencies and make a meaningful impact in their communities.
