" My burning desire for impact is deeply rooted in my conviction for service to humanity. The Millennium Fellowship gives me a forum to feed off the diversity of experiences and knowledge of people just like me; passionate, driven, and purpose-filled. It’s a space where I can sharpen my advocacy skills and constantly challenge myself to be better, do better, and serve better. I'm excited for this opportunity not just for personal growth, but for genuine societal change. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Umbrella for Children

Umbrella for children is a project focused on raising awareness among the youth for 3 main issues; student mental health and destigmatisation, antimicrobial resistance climate change awareness. This is through online workshops, social media posts and in person outreaches such as visiting primary and secondary schools or interviewing university students on campus.

About the Millennium Fellow

Riddhi Naa Ahema Nunoo is a passionate and driven second-year Medical Laboratory Science student at the University of Ghana. Born and nurtured in Ghana but delusionally living in India thanks to her 25% Indian genes, she brings a unique blend of identity and imagination to everything she does. Her passion for service runs deep, as she believes that her existence can inadvertently shape the lives of those around her. Her advocacy for adolescent reproductive health and rights began in high school, where she was emotionally and mentally sensitized to the challenges faced by underprivileged adolescents in Ghana. She sees these issues as deeply rooted in sociocultural factors that can be curbed through active education and bold advocacy. For her, the Millennium Campus Fellowship is more than a program; it’s a forum for mentorship, connection, inspiration, and impact.
