Millennium Fellowship Project: Clean Ocean Project Ghana
Clean Ocean Project Ghana founded by Miss Jennifer Naa Bampoe is a youth-led organization that focuses on preserving our oceans. Fundamentally we work towards helping achieve the agenda 2030 of the UN through the UN sustainable development goals and promoting sustainable ecosystems in Ghana. Clean Ocean Project Ghana has so many branches across universities such as the University of Ghana, and the University of Cape Coast among others in Ghana. The organization is committed to organizing projects such as beach clean-up exercises and films to educate people on the need to keep the surroundings, beaches, and oceans clean all the time. We are currently running the Nugua Project to make Nugua, Accra plastic-free within three years.
