Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Adhere
This project is a campaign promoting medication adherence among psychiatric service users. Targeting patients and mental health service users, the initiative used Instagram to raise awareness, create visibility, and encourage consistent adherence to prescribed treatments. The campaign aimed to improve health outcomes by educating users on the importance of following their psychiatric care plans.
About the Millennium Fellow
Blessing Oluwadara Madariola is a young medical student in the College of Medicine of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Blessing is involved in other extracurriculars to contribute positively to her environment especially in the sphere of mental health. She is a part of the press in her hall of residence, some non governmental organisations, as well as research groups. Blessing is passionate about improving mental health awareness in her community. In her spare time, she reads hangs out with animals and has long naps.
