Millennium Fellowship Project: Climate Ready Community

Visited Agbowo Community, in Ibadan, Nigeria to raise awareness and sensitization on the effect of human actions and inactions on climate and environmental health. The project feature a mini clean up drive lead by the Baale (the traditional head of the community), a lecture on climate and environmental health, and an interactive session where we dialogue on the cause, effect, and how to mitigate the effect of climate change locally. About 150 adults were impacted during the course of the project.
I also visited two secondary schools in the same area to educate the young's about climate change and environmental health.
