" I am passionate about merging healthcare, technology, and advocacy to protect vulnerable communities, especially children. I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded leaders globally, it will sharpen my leadership, and align my work with the SDGs. I believe this experience will strengthen my impact and equip me to drive meaningful, lasting change in healthcare and social development. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Break the Silence Initiative

This Project is carried out in collaboration with SpeakOut for Children Development Initiative, focused on educating and empowering children, parents, caregivers, and teachers with the knowledge and tools needed to prevent child sexual abuse in local communities. The project uses body-safety education, awareness workshops, and age-appropriate learning materials to help children understand personal boundaries, recognize unsafe situations, and speak up confidently.
The project provides training on recognizing early warning signs, responding appropriately to disclosures, and creating safer environments for children at home, in schools, and in community settings. Through continuous sensitization, open conversations, and community engagement, the project aims to reduce the stigma around discussing sexual abuse, strengthen prevention systems, and ultimately protect children from harm.
