Millennium Fellowship Project: PAD A GIRL CHILD INITIATIVE
PAD A GIRL CHILD INITIATIVE This is an initiative aimed at delivering education on menstrual hygiene, self worth and bodily changes associated with menstruation. This initiative has a clear objective of reducing period poverty and stigma associated with menstruation. In a society where girls are often perceived as second class citizens and being discriminated, I choose to be a voice for this generation, amplifying message to echo the concerns of my society. With this project over a 100 girls we're reached out to.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ndubuisi, Faith Chineyenwa, is a resilient dental student at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. She was born in Umudomi, Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. She upholds the value of honesty, integrity, and equity.
Faith has always been passionate about her advocacy for the girl child and social injustice. In a world where girls are faced with discrimination and are often perceived to be second-class citizens, she has chosen to be a voice for this generation, amplifying her message to echo the concerns of her community and working diligently to make the world a better place.
She has successfully participated in a philanthropic project, which she plans to continue.
Faith aspires to contribute to the development of the United Nations Sustainable Goals.
