" I'm looking to be a Millennium Fellow because I believe healthcare goes beyond treatment. It's about giving people the knowledge and resources they need to live healthy lives. Through this fellowship, I hope to gain the skills to make a real difference, working with others to improve health outcomes and create a future where everyone has access to quality care. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Mindfulness Movement

The mindfulness movement is a project that is dedicated to informing students and by extension the general population about the importance of mental health prioritization. The project focused on conducting an awareness campaign on campus, informing people about mental health, why it's important, how to identify people that are struggling with it, how to take care of your mental health and where to seek help. The project also promotes a domino effect in which the people that we were able to reach reach other people by extension for example by practicing some of the things that we spoke about during our awareness campaigns. We also distributed some informative flyers that contained all the information that we spoke about during our awareness campaign. We tried our best to distribute these flyers to people who are not available during their awareness campaign, and people in our universities teaching hospital also aiming to reach other people who may have come across these flyers The last and a very important part of the project was collaborating with our school students union governments and a well-known organization on our campus to make sure that this awareness campaign is made a regular thing throughout all administrations.
