ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2025

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Furthermore, as one who wishes to be an agent for social change leveraging on quality education as well as health sensitization through outreach Programmes, being part of this Prestigious fellowship will provide me with a community of like minded individuals as well as the necessary mentorship needed to see that the above goal becomes a success both within my campus and the world at large. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Bright Futures: Empowering Every Voice Through Education

The project name is "Bright Futures: Empowering Every Voice Through Education".
It aims at making education easy and accessible to all college students.
It carries out this objective by working closely with other student volunteers within and outside my department to form a functional academic committee. Here, students are being mentored and tutored on ways to navigate school and various challenges associated with school life.
We make their learning materials easier to comprehend while also guiding them on smarter ways to make good grades.
They are also sensitized on the limitless opportunities available to their chosen career path. These are carried out through an organized physical and virtual learning platforms where we assemble weekly to make meaningful impact in their lives.
A comprehensive timetable was drafted using school curriculum and academic calendar with specific number of tutors assigned weekly to ensure smooth operation of the project.

About the Millennium Fellow

Urama Endaline Ukaachi is a strong willed, enthusiastic and resilient young lady. She was born in Nsukka but currently resides at Enugu, Enugu state, Nigeria. She is currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme where she aspires to become a renowned medical radiographer. Her passion towards making a positive impact drove her into joining the Rotaract club where she has been able to participate as a community advocate . The drive further led her into researching about various programmes that will bring this reality to her doorstep, connecting her to a community of like-minded individuals. Eventually and fortunately, the Millennium Fellowship found her. She promises to make adequate use of this opportunity in carrying out one of the UN SDGs by implementing all learnt during this program to solve real life issues.
