United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Quality Learning Scheme

The Quality Learning Scheme (QLS) is an education focused initiative designed to improve learning opportunities for teenagers both in school and out-of-school in Ugbowo, Benin City, Edo State. The project addresses barriers such as lack of school materials, inadequate teaching staff, poor access to life-skills training, and limited knowledge of sex-education and personal hygiene.

About the Millennium Fellow

Arekhamen Delightsome is a dedicated fourth year medical student at the University of Benin, Nigeria. He currently has a strong interest in otolaryngology and is known for a meticulous approach to learning and problem solving. He is currently the Public Relations Officer for the Standing Committee on Health and Environment - Federation of African Medical Students’ Associations (FAMSA-SCOHE). Over time, he has contributed to the promotion of SDG 3 and 4 in his community. With a focus on excellence, he strives to make a lasting impact in the medical field and in the world at large.
