" My work is driven by a passion for using law as a tool for climate action and community empowerment. The Millennium Fellowship offers a platform to refine my skills, collaborate with diverse change makers and create sustainable solutions. I am excited to amplify my impact and align my efforts more effectively with the UNAI principles and SDGs. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Legally Green Initiative

My project focuses on advancing climate education through a legal lens by helping young people understand how climate change connects to law, policy, and justice. Beyond online sensitization, I have also carried out physical climate-awareness outreach at Keke High School, Ifako-Ijaye, Lagos, where I educated students on climate change and Nigerian environmental policies. To deepen impact, I am hosting a webinar titled “Youth, Law & Climate Justice: Turning Awareness into Action,” and I have created a WhatsApp community for continued engagement and resource sharing. Overall, the project aims to empower young people with the knowledge and tools to champion climate awareness and contribute meaningfully to climate justice within their communities.
