" I believe that awareness is the first step toward saving lives. My passion for enlightening people about cancers and contraceptives comes from a desire to empower communities with knowledge that promotes healthier choices and prevents needless suffering. The Millennium Fellowship excites me because it offers a global platform to sharpen my leadership, collaborate with like-minded change makers, and amplify my impact in advancing health education aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Contraceptive Awareness
The project involved a webinar and discussion group aimed at debunking myths about contraceptive use and raising awareness of its importance. The target audience was university students and anyone who is sexually active. I was able to engage a number of participants online through Google Meet and WhatsApp groups, effectively discussing the benefits and correct use of contraceptives.
