" Frankly, MCN is a means by which I can develop myself. Having seen the growth of friends who are fellows, I can't help but think that, this is the right place to be. With like minded individuals and a passion for preventive medicine - as a result of cases seen in the hospital - I hope to make a change. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Awareness on Silent Killers

My project is on awareness about silent diseases which often unnoticed until complications arise. I aimed to shed light on the risk factors and proffer feasible solutions to reduce the risk of falling victim to these illnesses.
Through my project I was able to spread awareness to over 100 secondary school students, housing them on lifestyle modifications that can reduce the chances of them falling I'll to chronic illnesses like diabetes and hypertension. I also encouraged them to spread awareness to their family members, highlighting symptoms they could watch out for.
