United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

The skills I gain from the Millennium Fellowship will help my social impact in communities, campus more tangible and aligned with the UNAI principles and SDG goals. I am expected to increase my anticipatory competence by envisioning new ways of learning and creating. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Water: A Gift to Humanity

This project is in accordance with Sdg 3 which is to promote good health and well-being. This idea popped in my head due to the increasing temperature and consumption of carbonated drinks in campus many people feel that taking carbonated drinks is the same as taking water daily so I gathered people and we all pitched in ideas for this project we Will educate the public on the importance of water, the benefits of drinking water, dangers of not drinking water, we will also talk about dehydration and the consequences on our body, do a chart for water intake.

About the Millennium Fellow

Adinde Emmanuella Amarachi is a bright,young and globally competitive pharmacy student at the faculty of pharmaceutical Sciences. She was born in Nigeria , resides in Lagos State and is currently studying in Nsukka,Enugu State truly a citizen of the world. For as long as she could remember, Amarachi has always been passionate advocasies for public health, improved health sector, community lover. This drive and adour translated itself from Amarachi's experience in the health sector and her continuous dedications to social action.
Throughout her high school years and currently in her University year, she has volunteered in public health campaigns , community outreaches. Through her outstanding leadership she plans to continue in the future. Amarachi aspires to be in a professional field where she can activate these advocacies further and provide her own contributions in the development of the United Nations sustainable goals.
