This opportunity will help me align my work more closely with the UNAI principles and SDGs, while expanding my capacity to create innovative, community-driven solutions "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Social Media Use and Mental Health Patterns

The project assessed the patterns of social media usage among pharmacy undergraduates and examined its effects on their mental health. Using a desk-based approach, existing studies, surveys, and reports were reviewed to determine the most commonly used platforms, frequency and duration of use, and purposes of engagement. The project also explored mental health outcomes such as stress, anxiety, and sleep disturbances associated with social media use.
The findings were used to raise awareness about responsible social media use and to provide recommendations for promoting mental well-being among students. The project aligns with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being and contributes to enhancing mental health literacy on campus.
