Millennium Fellowship Project: Role of Positive Peace in Sustainable Development.

Project Aim: To enlighten the Students on the use and the effect of positive peace framework towards building a strong institution and justice for improved quality of life.
Objective: 1. Definition of Negative peace and positive peace.
2. Understanding positive peace as a system
3. The application of 8 pillars of positive peace framework.
My project is more like educating students who are interested in political positions, public service, Administration and even daily living to apply the positive peace framework for Peace building and conflict mediation.
With the knowledge, they can use the Positive Peace Framework in several key applications that provide practical pathways for building resilience and sustainable peace across different sectors: Project Design: The Positive Peace Framework is a valuable tool for designing social impact projects. By analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of communities through the eight Pillars of Positive Peace, organizations and individuals can create or accelerate projects that target root causes of conflict and inequality. This approach ensures that initiatives are not only impactful but sustainable and community-driven. Policy Design: Governments and policymakers can apply the framework to enhance inclusive cooperation and promote systems thinking in policy development. By focusing on pillars like sound business environments, low levels of corruption, and good relations with neighbors, policymakers can design strategies that address the core factors contributing to peace and stability, ensuring long-term success and social cohesion. Dialogue and Building a Common Language: Positive Peace encourages the development of a shared language of peace that bridges divides across communities and stakeholders
