Millennium Fellowship Project: Project ReadHerStory
Read HerStory is a youth-led initiative dedicated to empowering voices, one book at a time. It is based on SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 5(Gender Equality) and directed towards female students aged 13-18. By curating books written by and about women, as well as hosting talks on gender equality with female professionals, this project's goal is to create awareness, inclusion and embolden the younger generation .
About the Millennium Fellow
Anjolaoluwa Olaifa is a budding law student at the University of Lagos. She was born in Lagos Nigeria and has resided there all her life. She is intelligent, empathetic and extremely passionate about advocacy for marginalized groups. She is a feminist first and foremost, dedicated to the rights of the girl child and women. She believes in uplifting every marginalized group and is a strong advocate of social justice across various world issues. She is a go-getter, a team player, intuitive and driven. Anjola aspires to have her NGO dedicated to helping the community one day and hopes to grow and learn a lot through experiences and opportunities like the Millennium Campus Fellowship, making a little change, one day at a time.
