" "I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it gives me the platform to merge my passion for storytelling and social impact, using words to inspire, educate, and drive change in my community. I believe creativity is not just art, it is a tool for transformation, and I am committed to using it to amplify voices, challenge mindsets, and foster positive change." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Take The Lead
Imagine a 21-day journey that pushes young people to build leadership, discipline, and personal growth habits. Every morning and evening, participants will read, write affirmations, set goals, and execute real projects they’ll share online. But that’s just one part. My team will also visit secondary schools and universities to talk about leadership, run practical sessions, and show students how to take charge of their future. I’m tired of the savior’s mentality where people sit around waiting for change instead of being the ones to make it happen. It’s everywhere. People let things slide because they think someone else will step in. But I’i've seen how bad leadership can ruin potential, and I’i've also seen how the right push can turn people into leaders. This project is that push. It’s a four-month journey that starts with the 21-day regimen and moves into outreach and community projects. It all ends in a big event where participants reflect, share their growth, and showcase what they’i've done. It’s not just about learning, it’s about acting. If you want to see change, you have to be the one to make it happen.q
