About the Millennium Fellow
Nkiruka Nwafor, born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, is a 300-level student of History and Strategic Studies at the University of Lagos. Passionate about history, tourism, geography, and global affairs, she is currently learning Spanish to broaden her international communication skills. Aspiring to become a diplomat to serve as a bridge between great powers, Nkiruka is equally committed to empowering children to break free from poverty. She dreams of establishing a charity foundation dedicated to emancipating children from hunger, and also to empowering women.
