United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

" Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will mold me into becoming the better person that can be of use to the world. I'm excited because this is a big platform that reaches out to different people from different places and I, being someone that wants to help the community, this is definitely a boost to doing that for them. I believe there is so much that can be done with the little skills i have in me and I'm sure that joining the Millennium Fellowship is taking me from 50%-100℅. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Every Child Deserves to Learn
Every Child Deserves to Learn is a project led by Millennium Fellow
Runsewe Ololade Elizabeth, Millennium Fellow SOLARIN Temiloluwa Ibukunoluwa, Millennium Fellow Sogunwa Deborah Boluwatife and Millennium Fellow Onasanya Oluwafolakemi Esther that collaborates with a local orphanage home to provide quality education and promote good health among its residents. We will design a customized curriculum and conduct regular classes, supplemented with monthly health workshops and medical outreach programs.
Measurable Goals (August-December 2025):
1. Education:
- Conduct bi-weekly classes for 3 months, reaching a minimum of 20 students.
- Achieve a 50% increase in students' knowledge retention, measured through baseline and end-line assessments.
2. Health:
- Organize 3 health workshops, focusing on basic hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.
- Provide medical check-ups and health screenings for at least 50% of the orphanage's residents.
3. Impact:
- Improve students' overall well-being and self-confidence, measured through surveys and feedback sessions.
- Increase community engagement and awareness about the importance of quality education and healthcare for vulnerable populations.
About the Millennium Fellow
Runsewe Ololade Elizabeth, an undergraduate at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, is an ambitious and dedicated individual with a passion for making a meaningful impact on the world , especially in health care. Ololade is deeply committed to personal and professional development as she aims to excel as a compassionate, skilled and team oriented individual. With a strong interest to hone her skills and contribute positively to society , Ololade actively participates in volunteering in community outreach programs, joined health related initiatives and also attended academic conferences within the university.
