Millennium Fellowship Project: The Design Guild
I’m starting The Design Guild, a community for people passionate about tech and design but unsure where to start. I've seen many people who want to learn digital skills but struggle due to a lack of mentorship, resources, or hands-on experience. As the world rapidly advances technologically, digital skills are no longer optional - they’re essential. From businesses moving online to AI-driven innovations, those who lack the right skills risk being left behind. The Design Guild aims to ensure that more people have access to the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to thrive in this digital age, regardless of their background. The Design Guild will connect beginners with experienced designers and tech professionals who are willing to guide them. Through mentorship, collaboration, and real-world projects, members will not only learn but also apply their skills to solve real world problems. The Design Guild won't be just another learning group, it’ll be a space where people grow together, share knowledge, and create opportunities for themselves and others - a space for innovation, problem-solving, and growth. By working on real projects, members gain hands-on experience, build strong portfolios, and contribute to impactful solutions in their communities.
