" There's nothing more thrilling than being part of a network that drives a positive change, and being part of the Millennium Fellowship achieves that. I am excited to join the platform, to meet like minds, and be part of the revolution that will bring change to the world. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Civic Light
Political and Civic Education is a project focused on helping students and local community members understand how politics impacts their daily lives. It teaches people about their rights, how government works, and the importance of their voices especially during elections and community decision-making. The project uses simple sessions, conversations, photo walks, and campus events to break down complex topics, working with schools and student groups to integrate political awareness into regular activities. Its goal is to empower more people to participate confidently, speak up, and take meaningful action in their communities.
About the Millennium Fellow
Onyinyechi Ndukaire is a bright and diverse student with interests in science, engineering, the arts, history, geography, and other subjects that capture her interest. She is a writer and currently a student of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Lagos, where she aspires to make a positive impact by applying engineering principles to address medical challenges. She has a particular interest in conflict and wars, torn apart by the catastrophe the world has faced/is facing. What drives her cause is the Nigerian-Biafran war and the other tribal strife that arose before and after the war, within the Nigerian and African geographic region. She believes that they can be dissolved, and she hopes to be that voice, especially through her writing.
