" "As an advocate for social justice, teenagers mental health, child education and gender equality my participation in the Millennium Fellowship will help me think of strategies and initiative that I can use to curb my society problems. I believe with the right resources and mentorship I will be able to make a difference in society. As a child that grew up with a shattered mental health, I don't want the same to happen to my fellow teenagers." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Tell Them Young
“Tell Them Young” is a mental health awareness project focused on educating and empowering children to understand their emotions and mental well-being from an early age. The project aims to create safe spaces in schools where pupils can openly express their feelings, learn healthy coping skills, and build emotional intelligence. Through interactive sessions, storytelling, and creative activities, we teach children how to identify emotions, seek help when needed, and support their peers. The goal is to normalize conversations around mental health among young learners and promote kindness, empathy, and self-awareness.
