Millennium Fellowship Project: Promoting Good Health and Well-being
In a developing country like Nigeria, Good health and well-being is not well advocated for , and so gives rise in a number of diseases, which leads to low productivity and inefficiency of students. With Good health and well-being student can actively participate in the economic development of their communities and the nation in general. I intend to use my project to inform and educate students on the importance of Good health. Being of Good health and well-being enables student to be able to actively participate in school work to give utmost results. Discussing the need for good health and well-being with students is a good step in advocating for good health and well-being because growing up they will adapt a lifestyle of ensuring good health and proper well-being. Growing up with this laid down foundation helps them to make informed decisions about their health, which help in the contributions of cultivating good health in their communities. As someone living with a chronic condition, I want to emphasize the importance of prioritizing health and self-care. By taking small steps towards healthy habits, we can make a significant difference in our lives and the lives of those around us.
