SDGs is something I am hoping to contribute to especially the area of zero hunger , gender inequality. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Equal voices, No Violence
This project can be considered inclusive as it seeks to ensure gender equality and promote the well-being and mental health of women experiencing domestic violence. The project focused on supporting women by prioritizing their safety before any other intervention. Through this work, I was able to promote good health and mental well-being among participants who had experienced violence. Key factors that contributed to what went well included safety planning, strong social support systems, access to professional services, financial independence of participants, increased knowledge and awareness, mental and emotional readiness, and the availability of safe housing.
