" I have a vision to see as many people as possible be what they should become rather than live a life pegged by the limitations of their societies.
This global room of change makers offers me just the right environment to go beyond ideas, visions and dreams to providing practical solutions to real world problems. Here is a privileged to be equipped, built up, work with great minds and be inspired to effect change. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Made for More

About This project seeks to shape students most importantly those in disadvantaged communities and build them up to be change-makers in their community and the world at large. That beyond the circumstances surrounding them as well as their past experiences or traumas, they can dare to dream big and make something meaningful out of life. In Nigeria, rural areas bear the highest rate of poverty and poor educational standards which we believe is a disadvantage. We are concerned about the holistic build up of these students such that key areas of physical well being, intellectual development, social development, personal growth, career development, leadership development, creativity and innovation as well as community service are duly attended to so they can effectively excel all round, while navigating the dynamic challenges that will arise in their journey towards becoming change-makers. Since every child doesn't get the opportunity to choose where they are born, we want to offer them the opportunity to choose a future not dictated by the predicament of their environment. Means: Education, Awareness and Mentorship Conclusion: We believe this project will bridge the inequality gap between students in these less disadvantaged communities and those in better developed and equipped communities.

About the Millennium Fellow

Dolapo Fakunle is a medical student at the university of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He has interest in right leadership, reduced inequality, child health and development as well as community health. He champions the path of ensuring that every child (especially those in rural areas) shouldn't be left at a disadvantage due to their background. "If they did not get to choose the society they were born in, then they shouldn't just be left to her hands to define their future" He says.
He is also looking forward to exploring interdisciplinary collaborations in ensuring an holistic approach to human health.
